Safety and support

• Before a reading is written, the dream passes an automated safety check (OpenAI moderation).
• If the dream suggests self-harm, abuse or danger, you still get your reading, together with a care note and the help lines for your country.
• Help line numbers come from a fixed list that we check ourselves. The AI never writes phone numbers, so it cannot invent one.
• Care notes and help lines are never hidden behind a paywall, covered up, or used to sell anything.
• Readings about someone who has died are always shown in full.
• With the reading we store only the category of a safety flag, never the reason in your words. It is never shared with advertisers and is deleted with the reading.
• No person at Pillowtea reads your dream when this happens, and we do not contact anyone on your behalf. If you want support, please reach out to one of the lines above.

• diagnose anything, or claim a dream proves something about your health;
• predict the future, or tell you a dream is an omen;
• advise you to start, change or stop medication or therapy;
• replace a doctor, therapist or counsellor.

Frequent nightmares, or dreams that stay with you and trouble your days, are worth talking about with a doctor or therapist. Effective help exists.
