As with dogs, your own experience of cats matters most. A beloved cat may simply appear as part of home. Unfamiliar cats are often linked with independence, intuition, or a relationship that feels affectionate but unpredictable. A scratching or hissing cat can point to a conflict that is small on the surface but sharp.
